The purpose of this online magazine is to inform the world about the exceptional artwork, galleries, museums and artsy activities in Oklahoma. Living in Oklahoma for the past few years has taught me there are wonderful artists and art venues in Oklahoma, but that doesn't mean they know about each other. I have learned that education, knowledge and partnership is the best way to flourish an arts community. The mission of GreenArtMag.com is "to be the most accurate and complete website for fine arts in Oklahoma and surounding areas." As you can see, I hope to carry a lot of information that can be accessed to the links to the left. This front page will be updated with art reviews, articles, press releases and notes a few times every week. Calendar, Call 4 Art, Links, Museums and Gallery listings are free. If you have a press release for an upcoming show send it and a web ready picture and I will try to post it based on time and space. Email them to info@greenartmag.com. This site will succeed with everyone's support and advertising. Advertising on this site can be purchased monthly or yearly. I will have an introductory price list for anyone doing art activities or business in Green Country or surrounding areas. My first focus are art activites in the Tulsa, Tahlequah and the Five Civilized Tribes areas, but I hope to list activities around the whole state and surrounding areas.
